Adichie ultimately calls for a greater appreciation of the complexity and diversity of humanity to further improve society. I personally relate to the bias  unintentionally which she mentions. I would always look down upon my American family friends, I thought they were white washed and uncultured. However, It is normal and human-like to fall into the trap of bias especially when one is only exposed to one narrative. But, we should better ourselves by seeking multiple perspectives and narratives.
